This sculptural high heel merges the languages of fashion, violence, and femininity to explore the pressures placed upon the female body within contemporary culture. Balancing precariously on the pointed front of the shoe, a fragmented female torso becomes both ornament and burden, suggesting the ways women’s bodies are displayed, consumed, and destabilised through objectification. Perched above, a vivid yellow gun introduces a jarring symbol of threat, control, and spectacle, transforming the elegant stiletto into a site of tension and confrontation.
The exaggerated composition combines glamour with danger, vulnerability with aggression.
